Regie: Lidija Zelovic

Yugoslavia was the land of milk and honey for filmmaker Lidija Zelovic. Born and raised in Sarajevo, she fled the city when the war broke out. She has been living and working in the Netherlands for thirteen years when during the time of the film, where she really likes it, with her boyfriend and their child who was just born. But something is still wringing: she is missing her old friends, who have been fanned out all over the world. That's why she thinks up a ridiculous plan, as she says herself. She will celebrate her wedding in the idyllic countryside in former Yugoslavia, invite all her friends and, as if it is not enough, make a film about it. In this personal documentary, Zelovic talks to her three best friends at the time, who she visits in Canada, Sweden and Sarajevo. In the very intimate talks she tries to glue the break that was caused by the war in the friendship between her Bosnian and Serbian girlfriends. In the meantime preparations for the wedding continue, where her uncles keep talking about the number of lambs that they have to slaughter.
